LECTURESHIP IN HUMAN GEOGRAPHY (Fixed-term for two years)

We seek to recruit a lecturer in human geography to contribute fully to School teaching and research. A demonstrable track record is required in teaching at different levels, research publications and research grant activity. The fixed-term position is to provide cover while a senior staff member holds an external Fellowship.

The successful candidate will teach across the Geography degree and at Masters level. You will contribute to the administration of one undergraduate class and to running a new MSc programme in Science for International Development. You will pursue your own research directions within our Human Geography Research Group. Applications are particularly welcomed from candidates working in development geography.

The post is available from 1st August 2011 for two years.
