The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in Korean Studies, including but not limited to the history, politics and/or international relations of the Korean peninsula. This position will be responsible for teaching two classes a semester divided between the undergraduate and graduate programs, including Georgetown’s M.A. program in Asian Studies. Each application should include a cover letter; curriculum vitae; a brief statement of research and teaching interests; three letters of recommendation; samples of scholarly writing; and copies of teaching evaluations, if available. The position will commence in the fall of 2013. The deadline for applications is November 15, 2012.
