Visual.ly features over 40,000 infographics and data visualizations samples and templates. These two caught my eye for their restrained use of color — first one on the “secret lives of milk,” and the second one on malaria—the red and grayscale work well together, but the small typeface is completely illegible without zooming in. It strikes me as something that may work well as a Prezi.
My research so far has not yielded many opportunities for data visualizations, but hopefully that’ll change in the coming months! This sure looks like fun.
