The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures is pleased to announce an endowed Chair in Korean Social Science. This professorship will also serve as Director of the new Institute for Korean Studies, housed in the School for Global and International Studies. We are seeking senior scholars with an outstanding research record in contemporary Korea, to be appointed as senior associate or full professor. The ideal candidate must have a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching. Review of applications will begin on January 15, 2013 and will continue until the position is filled.
