Korean studies scholars on Peace Tour

Hankyoreh has published an article in English about the Peace Tour I recently participated in. People’s Solidarity for Participatory Democracy (PSPD) posted online the resulting “Peace Declaration” in English and Korean. There have also been related events at the Institute for Korean Historical Studies.

It was a physically and emotionally exhausting 5-day study tour organized by the Alliance of Scholars Concerned about Korea (ASCK) in collaboration with the Institute for Korean Historical Studies, the Saram Human Rights Foundation, People‘s Solidarity for Participatory Democracy (PSPD), the May 18 Memorial Foundation, and the April 19 Unification and Peace Foundation.

I have quite a lot of photos (and some thoughts) to share, and will be posting a short essay soon.
